I put up a pool and watched a nascar race this weekend so you beat me.
Did anything this cool over the weekend. We spent it in Jellicho, Tenn. at the W.E. Rock Eastern Nationals taking videos and photos for www.wickedmag.com. I am posting a few pics from an event in Arizona and will try and get some from this weekend on here tommorow, these will give you an idea of what W.E. Rock and wickedmag are all about.
PM me or just ask on here if anyone would like more info on this sport or if you have an idea for other sports that we can cover for the website, i.e. mudbogging, rock crawiling, rock racing, or any other extreme motorsport not just off road 4x4 stuff even drifting and other racing.

I'm training to be a cage fighter.
"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"

The last 3 are succesion shots of the end of the unlimited shootout. There was only 1 that ended the course upright and actually only 3 of the 6 made it to the bottom, 2 didn't make it past the 1st gate and another got hung up in between the rocks and the end. These pics of the end don't really show that the drop there was about 25 feet straight down.

kickass pics! i know you went to jellico, but by any chance do you know when there will be a big event at tellico? anytime soon?
They had the Cherokee Crawl there July 6-8, the next event I can find is 20th Annual Dixie Run Sept. 29-Oct. 1. Here is a little something about it from the webstite.
Rock-Crawl Challenge
The Extreme Ridge Runners club will run the 6th Annual Rock Challenge competition at Dixie Run . It's an all day competition, with two classes divided up by tire size: a) 36" and under and b) 37" and larger. All other modifications are allowed ("run what you brung"). The course for the vehicles with under 36" tires is a bit easier than for the large tires. The competition will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 8:00am. This is a special event, limited to 30 vehicles, with additional registration once you are registered for the Dixie Run. The fee includes a Rock Challenge T-shirt and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class, plus bragging rights for the year .....
and a link to the site web page
Hope this is helpfull, I am gonna talk to my cousin and Brian (wickedags owner) and we will probably be there to cover the event for wickedmag. Any other places around you can think of within say 5 hours dirve of Coeburn just let me know.
